### Calls

How calls run, drops, timing, blocking.

**Q: Audio or video?**
A: Both. You choose what you offer, and the caller picks from what you've enabled. The caller can also turn their camera off if they'd rather not show their face.

**Q: Can I pause a call?**
A: No, a call can't be paused once it starts.

**Q: The call dropped mid-way, what happens?**
A: You can start the call again and pick up from where you left off. Our system tracks the remaining time, so you don't lose the minutes you paid for.

**Q: I accepted a call but haven't started it yet.**
A: You have 72 hours to start the call. After that it expires, and the caller is automatically refunded.

**Q: What happens when the timer reaches zero?**
A: The call ends automatically at zero, unless the caller adds more time. Extra time is added on instantly so the call keeps going.

**Q: Can I schedule a call for later?**
A: Not for now. If scheduled calls would help you, email feedback@dialme.com and tell us.

**Q: Can I block or report a caller?**
A: Yes. Block a caller and you won't receive any more messages from them. You can also report them, and our team will take the necessary action.

### Payouts

When the money moves, and why it waits 7 days.

**Q: When will my payout arrive?**
A: Your earnings are held for 7 days after they are earned. Once cleared, go to Earnings and press the payout button. The amount is sent to your connected Stripe account.

**Q: I requested a payout and nothing arrived.**
A: Open Settings in the app, tap Support, and send us your payout details. We'll trace it for you.

**Q: What's the minimum payout?**
A: $10.

**Q: Why is part of my balance pending?**
A: New earnings sit pending for 7 days. That window covers security and fraud verification on the caller's payment. After 7 days the amount is released and ready to pay out to your Stripe account.

**Q: What does DialMe take?**
A: DialMe takes 20%, and you keep 80%. That fee covers payment processing and running the messaging and call platform.

**Q: How do I get paid, and in which currency?**
A: Payouts go to your connected Stripe account. If your bank account is in USD, you receive the amount as is. If it's in another currency, a small foreign-exchange difference of around 1% can apply on conversion. This only affects non-USD accounts.

A: DialMe will provide a 1099 form if you need one.

**Q: When am I charged for a call?**
A: You're charged when the call starts.

**Q: The call never happened, do I get my money back?**
A: If the call never happens, you aren't charged. If a creator doesn't start the call within 72 hours, you're automatically refunded.

**Q: Is my payment information safe?**
A: Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe. DialMe never has access to your card number, only Stripe does.

**Q: Will the call show on my statement?**
A: Yes, it shows as "DialMe".

**Q: What payment methods do you accept?**
A: Major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.

**Q: Can I get a refund if the call was bad?**
A: We can't refund for subjective reasons. But if a call genuinely didn't work because of a quality issue, contact support. Every call is monitored live and we log drops and call quality, so we can check what happened.

Booking, staying private, extending, reporting.

**Q: Can I dispute the charge or file a chargeback?**
A: Contact support@dialme.com first, since most issues are sorted faster directly. You can still raise it with your bank, but DialMe keeps a full record of every call. For a false or fraudulent chargeback we send that evidence to your bank to contest it, and the account behind a false chargeback can be suspended.

**Q: Does the creator see my real name or phone number?**
A: No. The creator only sees your username and profile picture, never your real name or a phone number. All calls happen inside the app.

**Q: How do I book or start a call with a creator?**
A: Open the creator's DialMe link or accept their call offer, pay, and you're connected, all inside the app.

**Q: What if the creator doesn't answer or no-shows?**
A: You're not charged. If a creator doesn't start the call within 72 hours, you're automatically refunded.

**Q: What if the creator ends the call early?**
A: You can start the call again and use the remaining time you paid for. Our system tracks what's left.

**Q: Can I extend the call or buy more time?**
A: Yes. You can add more time during the call, and the extra time is added on instantly so you can keep talking.

**Q: Can I cancel a booked call and get a refund?**
A: You can ask for a refund before the call starts. Once a call has started it can't be cancelled.

**Q: Will I be charged if the creator declines my call?**
A: No.

**Q: Do I need the app, or can I call from the web?**

**Q: Can I message the creator outside the call?**
A: Yes. You can send a message inside your conversation with the creator.

A: You can delete your account from Settings. Pay out any remaining balance first, as deletion is permanent.
