Privacy Policy
Last updated May 27, 2026
DialMe is infrastructure for paid one-to-one video calls between creators and their fans, and protecting the privacy of both — especially the anonymity of fans — is a core priority. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
01Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how DialMe LLC (“DialMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the DialMe mobile applications, website, and related services (the “Service”). It applies to both fans and creators and forms part of our Terms of Service.
By using DialMe, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02Fan and creator privacy
DialMe is built around protecting fan privacy. Fans sign up with an email magic link only — we do not require a name, password, phone number, or SMS verification. Creators never see a fan’s email address, real name, phone number, IP address, or precise location, and fans may use a chosen display name and keep their camera off during calls.
Creators are public on the Service because they choose to share their own profiles and links. Information a creator adds to their public profile is visible to anyone who has that link.
03Information you provide to us
When you create an account, we collect your email address. Fans are not required to provide any other identifying information. Creators provide additional information to set up a public profile (such as a display name, photo, and bio) and, in order to receive payouts, complete identity verification and payment onboarding — some of which is collected directly by our payment processor.
We also collect the content of messages you send through the Service, the offers and call details you create or accept, and any information you provide when you contact support or send us feedback.
04Information we collect automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect device and log data such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, identifiers, and access times. We use your IP address to derive an approximate (city- or country-level) location for security and fraud prevention, and we keep a security log of connections to your account.
We also collect usage data about how you interact with the Service — for example, pages and profiles viewed, features used, and call metadata such as timing and duration. We collect this data through cookies, software development kits, and similar technologies, as described below.
05Information we receive from third parties
We receive limited information from our service providers, such as payment and identity-verification confirmations and fraud signals from our payment processor, approximate location derived by our geolocation provider, and delivery and error information from our email, notification, and monitoring providers. If you reach us through a creator’s shared link, we may receive information about how you arrived.
06Call recordings
Calls may be recorded on our servers solely for trust, safety, and dispute-resolution purposes. These recordings are accessible only to DialMe’s trust-and-safety team on an audit-logged basis, are never shared with creators or fans, and are automatically deleted after ninety (90) days unless they must be retained for an active investigation, dispute, or legal requirement. Creators and fans cannot record or download calls through the Service.
07How we use your information
We use your information to provide, operate, and personalize the Service; to authenticate accounts and send service-related messages and notifications; to process payments and creator payouts; to enable calls and messaging; to maintain safety, prevent fraud and abuse, and resolve disputes; to analyze and improve the Service; and to comply with our legal obligations.
We send marketing communications only with your consent where required, and you can opt out at any time without affecting service-related messages.
08Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and processing payments); for our legitimate interests (securing the Service, preventing fraud, understanding usage, and improving our product), balanced against your rights; to comply with a legal obligation; and on the basis of your consent where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.
10Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. DialMe does not collect or store your full card number — that information is provided directly to Stripe, which processes it under its own privacy policy. We receive limited details needed to operate the Service, such as confirmation of payment, the payment method type, and the last four digits of your card. Creators’ payout and identity details are collected and held by Stripe as part of payment onboarding.
12Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After that, we retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Call recordings are deleted after ninety (90) days unless retained for an active investigation or dispute, and other data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
13Data security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging for sensitive functions, and other technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
14International data transfers
DialMe is based in the United States, and our infrastructure and service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
15Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct or update it, to delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at help@dialme.chat. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
16California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access and delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
The categories of personal information we collect are described above and include identifiers (such as email and IP address), commercial information (such as payment and call records), internet and other electronic activity, approximate geolocation, audio information (trust-and-safety call recordings), and inferences. To exercise your rights, contact us at help@dialme.chat; you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
17Children’s privacy
DialMe is intended only for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly.
18Links to other sites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
19Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and we will provide more prominent notice for significant changes where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
